THE EARLY DAYS
Born in the UK’s vibrant northeast, Paul became a news reporter straight from school.
After 10 years writing about conflict and crime, he moved into trade magazines as a Legal and Financial Services Portfolio Editor with IPC Media.
Spotting a gap in the media relations game, he launched an all-journalist freelance agency. The growth of Paul Sowerby Associates won him the Outstanding British Young Businessman award.
He sold the agency and bought ProMedia; a contract publishing group that produced journals for clients ranging from the Law Society to DeVere Hotels.
He sold ProMedia to the senior management team and jumped aboard a web design and digital content marketing business. When he'd grown and sold it for the owners, he went to Australia and launched a copywriting and web design agency.
In 2021 Paul moved to Dubai, where he has lived since.
